Ideal candidates will have strong experience with Java, Angular, and SQL Server. Additional experience with Spring, web technologies, unit testing, containers, and cloud technologies (Docker, Azure, Helm Charts) is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop clean, maintainable, secure, and efficient code following department standards.
• Utilize source control (Git), including branching, merging, and continuous integration practices.
• Conduct and participate in peer code reviews.
• Collaborate with management to improve development processes and standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs; update unit tests to prevent regressions.
• Perform comprehensive testing (e.g., integration, performance, security).
• Use code metrics and coverage tools to enhance code quality.
• Mentor and support onboarding of new team members.
• Maintain hands-on familiarity with relevant products and systems.
• Communicate concerns and suggestions to management and peers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Technical Skills :

• Minimum 2 years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and SQL Server (or other RDBMS).
• Experience with debugging tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with Git and source control workflows.
• Experience building scalable, high-availability systems.

Soft Skills :

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Comfortable interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Receptive to feedback and continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Agile development experience is a plus.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and certification.
