Professional Painter

Bella Star Painting LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Professional Painter to join our team. We specialize in high-quality residential and commercial painting projects and pride ourselves on delivering a flawless finish for every client. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of surface preparation, is highly skilled in both brush/roll and airless spray applications, and can back-roll effectively to ensure maximum durability and a uniform texture. Wallpaper experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces thoroughly for painting, including washing, scraping, sanding, patching holes and cracks, and applying caulk.
• Protect all surfaces, including floors, trims, and fixtures, with drop cloths and painter's tape to prevent damage.
• Operate and maintain airless spray equipment for efficient, professional application on larger surfaces.
• Execute the back-rolling technique immediately after spraying to ensure superior paint adhesion, uniform coverage, and a consistent finish, particularly on textured or porous surfaces.
• Demonstrate mastery of brush and roller techniques for detailed trim work, corners, and areas not suited for spraying.
• Mix and match paint colors and finishes accurately to achieve the desired results.
• Inspect your own work for quality, making any necessary touch-ups or corrections before project completion.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized worksite, and properly store and dispose of all materials.
• Communicate professionally with Project Manager, and team members throughout the project.

Qualifications and skills:

• Proven experience as a professional painter, including significant experience with airless sprayers and back-rolling.
• In-depth knowledge of paint materials, surface types, and proper application techniques.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift equipment.
• Manual dexterity and a steady hand for precise work.
• Strong work ethic and time management skills to complete projects efficiently, whether working independently or as part of a team.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is a plus.
