Occupational Therapist
- Evaluate and develop treatment plans for residents based on their medical diagnoses.
- Implement treatment plans to improve residents' goals toward functional independence.
- Assess and document residents' progress in detailed re-certifications, progress reports, and daily notes.
- Maintain resident confidence by ensuring the confidentiality of all information.
- Maintain documentation of resident care services by auditing resident and department records.
- Assume responsibility for clinically supervising occupational therapy assistants.
- Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to related documentation.
- Plan, develop, and organize OT-related reports and data tracking as directed by the Rehab Director.
- Assist in departmental projects as needed.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
- Current New York State Occupational Therapist License.
- Experience is a plus, though not required.
