Job Title: Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)

Location: Brooklyn, NY 11235

Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Duration: 13-week contract

Pay Rate:

• Travelers: $5,000 – $5,513/week

• Locals: $4,200 – $4,687.50/week

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Chief Nursing Officer  for an exciting Travel or Local job in Brooklyn, NY.

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all nursing operations.

• Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care.

• Lead recruitment, retention, and professional development initiatives for nursing staff.

• Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and accreditation standards.

• Collaborate with executive leaders, physicians, and cross-functional teams to improve quality and patient outcomes.

• Manage nursing budgets, staffing models, and resource allocation.

• Drive patient safety, quality improvement, and satisfaction initiatives.

• Foster a culture of innovation, evidence-based practice, and clinical excellence.

• Mentor and support nursing leaders and frontline staff.

• Represent nursing at the executive table to influence organizational decisions.

• Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Doctorate preferred).

• Active RN license in New York State.

• 6+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience, including at least 5 years at the executive level.

• Proven expertise in clinical operations, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in unionized environments and managing structural or departmental change.
