Part-Time Creative & Marketing Manager Shiraz Kitchen & Wine Bar | Chelsea, NYC (primary) + White Plains, NY

Shiraz Kitchen is a Persian-Mediterranean restaurant operating under the Define Hospitality philosophy, with locations in Chelsea (111 W 17th St) and White Plains (80 Mamaroneck Ave). The White Plains location holds a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand and a New York Times "Very Good" rating. Both locations hold the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.

Reporting to the Chef-Owner, the Creative & Marketing Manager owns the brand's day-to-day presence across social, email, and web for both restaurants. This is a hands-on role for someone who can concept, shoot, design, write, and ship—end to end, on their own. It is not a brief-to-agency role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Social & Content

• Plan and produce content across Instagram and TikTok for both locations, with a clear point of view per audience
• Concept, shoot, and edit photo, reels, statics, and carousel posts on-site during service, on iPhone, without slowing the floor
• Support photoshoots with moodboards, food styling concepts, and shot lists

Email

• Build and send newsletters and seasonal campaigns, applying email design best practices
• Maintain templates and welcome flows

Web & Collateral

• Maintain and update website content on Shopify—menu pages, blog posts, landing pages, seasonal campaigns
• Design in-restaurant collateral: menu inserts, posters, table cards, gift cards
• Hold the line on editorial tone, photography style, and typography across every touchpoint

Performance & Coordination

• Track content and campaign performance, then adjust based on what is actually working
• Manage your own timelines and deliverables across both locations
• Coordinate with the chef, GM, and operations team on launches, menu changes, and events

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of marketing and design experience, ideally in hospitality, food, or wine
• Strong portfolio across social, email, and web
• Proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and CapCut or similar video tools
• Comfortable with Shopify, Meta Business Suite, and Google Analytics
• Sharp writing voice that can match our editorial tone: warm, direct, and free of fluff
• Eye for food and restaurant photography, confident shooting on iPhone during service
• Available a minimum of 20 hours per week on-site, primarily at Chelsea, with occasional visits to White Plains for shoots and events. This is not a remote role.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule

GROWS INTO As the business expands, this role can take on the marketing pipeline for our corporate catering and private events business—lead nurture, pitch decks, proposal templates—and step up into a senior brand role. We are looking for someone who wants that path, not just the starting scope.

COMPENSATION $25.00–$30.00 hourly, based on experience
