OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Brooklyn, NY by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Run coast-to-coast dry van freight from Brooklyn, NY, in late-model trucks equipped with sleepers, APUs and inverters. Expect consistent OTR mileage—around 2,500 miles weekly—and reliable freight schedules supported by dedicated dispatch.

Core responsibilities:

• Safely operate and inspect company dry van equipment; maintain accurate driving and cargo records.
• Ensure proper cargo securement, comply with DOT and company policies, and uphold clean inspection standards.
• Work with our in-house maintenance team to address repairs and preventive service.

Requirements & perks:
