Tax engineer

CTG is seeking to fill a Tax Engineer position for our client in New York, NY.

Duration: 3 months

Responsibilities:

• Implement and automate tax software and processes in collaboration with finance, accounting, and engineering teams.

• Coordinate global tax technology requirements and create business requirements documents, including data strategy and roadmap.

• Configure solutions using Alteryx, Power BI, Snowflake, Pyramid, Python, and related tools.

• Manage external vendors and monitor emerging tax technology trends.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of combined engineering and tax experience.

• Strong knowledge of US and/or UK tax.

• Development/configuration skills in Snowflake, OneSource, Alteryx, Pyramid, Python, Salesforce, RPA, or Microsoft suite.

• Project management experience leading multiple initiatives.

• Excellent verbal and written communication; independent and self-motivated.

• B.S. / B.A. degree.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
