Scanning Coordinator
Pay Rate Starting at: Level $19.00/ hr Rates of pay are determined by previous experience and labor contract seniority.
SUMMARY
The mission of all Tops associates is to adhere to the Tops vision of providing a friendly neighborhood store that saves the customer time and money. The scan coordinator is responsible for maintaining clear, correct pricing throughout every department in the store.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that pricing throughout the store is clearly posted and correct• Follow all operating procedures for the scan department
- Finish all paperwork required for the scan department
- Make sure any price discrepancies are fixed immediately
- Perform weekly/ monthly price audits (i.e.: entire store audit, produce scan audit)
- • Spend the necessary time to select, train and develop scan department associates to maintain a steady reserve of personnel for each position
- • Write the schedule for the scan department team
- • Oversee weekly price changes and review the work of the price change team to ensure accuracy
- Communicate the importance of price accuracy to all department heads and store management
- Maintain a positive work environment for associates and a positive shopping environment for the customers
- Organization, planning and self-discipline
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years of age
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
- Possess basic computer skills
- Possess strong communication skills
