We are seeking a Reservationist to act as the first point of contact for our global community of guests. This is a vital, hourly role centered on the seamless management of our reservation systems and the delivery of exceptional guest communication.
This is a rare opportunity to learn the craft of service at a restaurant honored with the "Gin Mare Art of Hospitality Award." As a Reservationist, you will be the architect of the guest's first impression, ensuring that every inquiry is handled with the precision and warmth that defines the Atomix experience. This role is ideal for a dedicated hospitality professional who thrives in a detail-oriented, guest-facing environment.
Reservationist Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Reservation Management: Oversee and execute guest bookings via the Tock and Loyalist platforms, ensuring the floor plan is optimized and all guest data is meticulously recorded.
Guest Communication: Manage the info@ email inbox with speed and sophistication, answering inquiries and facilitating requests with a high level of professional "voice."
Guest Intelligence: Conduct thoughtful guest research (including "Google checks") to help the service team provide a personalized experience for every diner.
Allergy & Dietary Coordination: Maintain and update allergy charts with 100% accuracy, ensuring that critical guest safety information is communicated clearly to both Front-of-House and Kitchen teams.
Service Support: Support the team during service hours by managing the welcome desk, assisting with guest departures, and ensuring the accurate distribution of our signature menu boxes.
Celebration Oversight: Track and manage special occasion notes, ensuring that cards, candles, and sweets are prepared and ready for the service team.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in hospitality reservations or high-end guest service is preferred.
Detail Orientation: An obsession with accuracy; the ability to manage complex schedules and dietary data with zero margin for error.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; the ability to represent a world-class brand with grace and clarity.
Technical Savviness: Proficiency in reservation platforms (specifically Tock) and digital communication tools.
Mindset: A proactive and organized professional with a mastery of guest engagement; possessing the refined poise and emotional intelligence to handle guest inquiries with warmth and discretion.
Flexibility: Comfortable with a hospitality-driven hourly schedule, including evenings and weekends as service needs evolve.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs if necessary
