Job Title: Supervisor, Materials Management Department: Materials Management Location: Newark-Wayne Community
Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week. Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Weekend: On call as needed
SUMMARY
Coordinates Inventory replenishment and management for multiple inventory locations. Provides back up leadership to department Manager as needed. Assists with inventory projects and Materials Management Information System as requested
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains adequate and appropriate materials for an effective and efficient inventory/operation for all Inventory locations.
Develops and maintains inventory levels for all inventory locations.
Communicates with outside vendors on delivery and price reconciliations.
Responsible for maintaining Materials Management Information System controls receipts, issues and on hands. Works closely with Distribution Manager on same.
Accounts for all incoming materials both stock and non-stock by requesting packing slips with purchase orders.
Responsible for updating MSDS book on an annual basis.
Helps coordinate the physical inventory of Print Shop, SPC, Central Stores and Linen when requested.
Assists by being on call for the department a minimum of 26 weekends per year and 3 holidays.
Maintains Materials Management Information system associated with Central Stores, Print Shop, SPC and Linen as needed. Works in coordination with MMIS administrator on same.
Communicates with the hospital departments and affiliated facilities on services provided new policies and procedures, quality of services and products, etc.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATONS :
Associates degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or equivalent combination of education or experience.
PREFERRRED QUALIFICTIONS:
Minimum of 2 years of progressive leadership/supervisory experience
Minimum of 3 years experience with supply process and distribution of materials.
Detail oriented with the ability to give and receive positive and constructive feedback
Strong analytical, computer, and communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
H - Heavy Work - Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires constant walking, standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements.

14513The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
