Storied French luxury department store, Printemps, is preparing to open its first ever US location at One Wall Street in the heart of the Financial District.
Located in the historic 50-story landmark, Printemps will have five distinct food and beverage concepts ranging from a casual cafe to a fine dining brasserie. Food and beverage is helmed by Top Chef Alumnus and 3-time James Beard Award Winner, Chef Gregory Gourdet.

Job Details
Café Jalu in Printemps department store is seeking a skilled, professional and friendly barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, a genuine love for coffee, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve specialty coffee and other beverages to the highest standard
Provide warm, efficient, and attentive service to every customer
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and café area
Operate and care for coffee equipment with attention to detail.
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory management.
Strong customer service and communication skills
Passion for quality, and consistency
Knowledge of espresso machine, preparation, milk texturing, coffee brewing and latte art techniques - including dialing in, calibrating grinders, adjusting extraction times, and maintaining equipment
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
Attention to detail and pride in presentation
- Familiarity with POS system Toast.
