Job Title: General Laborer – Exhibit Builder
Location: Clifton Park, NY
Pay Rate: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
Standard shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime option: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (preferred for candidates seeking long-term hire consideration)
Position Type: Temporary (3–4 weeks, with potential for permanent hire based on performance and attendance)
Position Summary
We are seeking reliable and mechanically inclined General Laborers to join a team that builds custom displays for trade show exhibits. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work with a variety of tools and materials to assemble, construct, and prepare display structures. Candidates with strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience using hand and power tools will thrive in this role.
Responsibilities
Assist in the construction and assembly of custom trade show exhibits and displays.
Safely operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and spray glue equipment.
Measure, cut, and fit materials with precision.
Support carpentry-style build tasks and general shop duties.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Follow company safety standards and procedures at all times.
Qualifications
Previous experience in carpentry, construction, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on trade preferred.
Proficiency with hand and power tools (drills, saws, spray glue, etc.).
Mechanically inclined with good problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attendance and reliability are essential.
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work on your feet throughout the day.
