Data entry clerk
- Minimum two years of data entry experience, with attention to detail.
- Experience with the State Tracking Reporting System (STARS)/PeerPlace computer systems.
- Experience in project management.
- Fluent in Spanish - written and oral.
- A clear communicator with public speaking experience.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office package (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Publisher and Word).

- Demonstrated patience working with elderly and disabled populations.

Scope of Services 1. Conduct four (4) to five (5) outreach presentations per month at in-person or webinar health fair
events. (Understanding Medicare, Medicare Advantage Plans, supplemental insurance plans)
2. Facilitate with HIICAP staff to improve the communication with providers and volunteers to ensure
the Beneficiary Contact Form, Group/Media Outreach & Education Forms, and data reporting meet
DFTA Senior Tracking Analysis, STARS/PEERPLACE and New York State Office for the Aging
(NYSOFA) requirements and compliance.
3. Analyze reports regarding the Application Programming Interface.
4. Compile and evaluate the data entry of monthly statistics from HIICAP BCF, Media & Group
Outreach & Education forms in STARS/PEERPLACE.
5. Provide assistance to HIICAP staff on the implementation of the HIICAP Corresponding Tracking
System (HCTS) and incoming calls routed from DFTA's Aging Connect information and referral
contact center to DFTA's HIICAP Medicare Information and Enrollment center, and compile
summary of calls received on a daily basis.
6. Prepare Medicare materials for health insurance presentations and health & wellness fairs, as well
as materials for volunteer management and volunteer training.
7. Provide language translation at outreach events, including HIICAP Medicare materials.
8. Attend partner meetings and other partner training. Conduct health fair events on weekends and
evenings as needed
