Deployment Engineer
Description
We’re looking for a Deployment Engineer to join our SecureView® team in Rome, NY! In this role, you’ll be responsible for the deployment, field support and help desk support of the SecureView software. This position has an anticipated start date on/or about August 2025.
SecureView is a certified cross domain access solution leveraging virtualization and providing unparalleled security, performance and flexibility to customers. SecureView utilizes a multitude of open and closed source software and hardware technologies to provide secure access to VMs running at different classification levels and connected to different networks with remote management capabilities.
What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate deployment tasks and deliverables for technical quality and compliance while identifying lessons learned for future process improvements
- Understand end-user expectations and effectively managing customer needs, scope creep and contract compliance
- Advise customer and contractor personnel on product and service requirements, validated and approved hardware/software components and associated procedures
- Assist with solution engineering and obtaining hardware/software quotes and developing vendor partnering programs
- Diagnose and test unusual and complex end-user issues
- Mentor peers and providing on-the-job training
- Independently deliver formal training at DoD/IC customer locations
- Provide Tier III support to customers
Education/Experience/Skillset Required:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Computer Engineering or a related field of study with 5 years of experience in performing IT deployments or service delivery in an end user/customer environment OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- You have 2 years of experience in working directly with and supporting end-users in an IC environment
- You have 2 years of experience implementing and staffing IT deployment teams, operations, help desks and other customer support functions
- Active certification compliant with DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher (i.e., CompTIA Security+ CE).
Preferred Skillset:
- Strong familiarity with cross-domain systems and/or virtualization?and VDI environments?(Citrix, VMWare)
- Experience deploying IT solutions software in DoD/IC facilities CONUS and OCONUS
- Ability to design and implement both Linux and Windows systems and deployments
- Knowledgeable of issues related to system installs in IC and DoD intelligence sites, including site sensitivities as well as highly demanding users and site managers
Clearance Required: Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance
Travel Required: Up to 50%
AA/Disability/Veteran US Salary Range: $102,622 - $142,603
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on several factors including location, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package which includes employer paid health insurance and a 7% contribution to your 401k, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation.
