• Hours: 11.5 Hours per Shift
• Total Weekly Hours: 34.5

Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and recent experience in medical-surgical nursing.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Provide bedside care to pre- and post-surgical patients
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Perform wound care, IV therapy, and infection control procedures
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition
• Operate and adjust specialized medical equipment
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience in an acute care setting
• Recent experience within the past 1 year
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Certifications:
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA – required for certain units)

• Physical assessment
• Medication administration

• IV therapy
• Post-operative care
• Patient education
• Telemetry monitoring

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Experience in large acute care hospitals
