Job Description
- Advise clients on employee benefits and executive compensation matters within the professional services industry.
- Draft, review, and negotiate compensation-related agreements and legal documents.
- Provide guidance on compliance with federal and state regulations related to employee benefits and compensation.
- Assist with due diligence and benefits integration in corporate transactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to deliver effective solutions.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting employee benefits and compensation.
- Contribute to the development of client relationships and support business development efforts.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support client needs.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in New York or eligibility for admission.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits and executive compensation laws and regulations.
- Excellent legal drafting and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
