Medical Director and Assistant Medical Director - Blood
Northwell Health is seeking accomplished, Board-Certified MD or DO Physicians for the pivotal roles of Medical Director or Assistant Medical Director of Blood Bank and Transfusion Medicine within its Central region . This presents an exceptional opportunity for dynamic leaders to contribute to both clinical excellence and robust departmental oversight within a leading Transfusion Medicine/Blood Bank service.
Required qualifications include:
American Board of Pathology (ABP) certification/eligibility in Clinical Pathology.
Accredited fellowship training in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine with ABP certification/eligibility in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine.
A valid, unrestricted New York State Medical License.
A Certificate of Qualification in Transfusion Services (details available at: ).
The ideal candidate for the Medical Director position will possess robust experience specifically in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine, complemented by demonstrated leadership capabilities and strong teamwork abilities. New graduates with exceptional leadership potential will be considered for the position of Assistant Medical Director.
