Senior Software Developer – Data Integration

GD Resources is seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Developer to support a major data modernization initiative. The selected candidate will play a critical role in a multi-disciplinary product development team focused on enhancing the Integrated Eligibility System. This position involves building robust ETL solutions, executing complex data migration strategies, and contributing to the modernization of legacy data systems through agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Collaborate in an agile development environment to create scalable, high-performing software solutions.

• ETL Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Data Quality tools.

• Data Migration: Migrate data from legacy platforms to modern data environments, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

• Data Preparation & Quality: Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and transformation to support integration and analytical needs.

• Data Management: Monitor, schedule, and troubleshoot ETL processes; resolve performance and load issues.

• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including ETL designs, data mappings, and implementation guides.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interface with stakeholders, project leads, and product teams to align deliverables with business needs.

• 60+ months of experience in data integration development using PL/SQL and relational databases.

• 60+ months of experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Data Quality, including full lifecycle implementation.

• Extensive experience migrating data from multiple sources such as databases, flat files, and XML, including the use of UNIX shell scripts.

• Strong background in data quality methodologies , including data profiling, cleansing, standardization, and duplicate resolution using Informatica IDQ.

• Demonstrated experience with Oracle 11g or higher, including stored procedures, triggers, packages, materialized views, SQL Loader, external tables, and built-in utilities.

• Practical knowledge of Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Types) and Change Data Capture (CDC) techniques in OLTP and OLAP environments.

• 60+ months of experience developing and optimizing UNIX shell scripts for file validation, transfer, and ETL job automation.

• Expertise in performance tuning of complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts to improve database and application efficiency.
