Part-Time Front-End Supervisor

We are looking for a responsible part-time Front-End Supervisor to help organize and run our Supermarket and fill in for the Store Manager when needed. Your job will be highly important in ensuring the sales team meets its goals of efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Front End Supervisor responsibilities include assisting Cashiers, monitoring and managing all front-end activity, multi-tasking, providing excellent customer service, and diffusing any conflicts.

Our ideal candidate will have retail manager skills with a sharp business mindset. You should also be skilled at organizing and solving problems. Interpersonal and mediation skills will also be very useful, since you’ll often be acting as a liaison between managers, employees and customers.

Ultimately, the duties of the Front-End Supervisor are to make sure our stores operate effectively, and that we keep our customers happy.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assists the Retail Store Manager in planning and implementing strategies to attract customers.
  2. Coordinates daily customer service operations (e.g. sales processes, orders and payments)
  3. Supervises and motivates staff to perform their best.
  4. Coaches and supports new and existing Sales Associates
  5. Communicates with clients and evaluates their needs.
  6. Handle complaints from customers
  7. Conduct regular audits to ensure the store is functional and presentable.
  8. Make sure all employees adhere to the company’s policies and guidelines.
  9. Act as our store’s representative and set an example for our staff.
  10. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience as a Retail Supervisor or similar position.
  2. Familiarity with financial and customer service principles.
  3. Good math skills.
  4. Leadership and organizational abilities.
  5. Interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Problem-solving attitude.
  7. Flexibility to work in shifts (days, evenings, nights, on call, weekends).
  8. Bilingual English/Spanish speaking a plus but not required.
  9. Supervising Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
  10. Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
