Growth & Retention Analyst
Mission:
Our Growth & Retention Analyst role is designed to accelerate the development of early-career marketing professionals passionate about e-commerce, direct-to-consumer (DTC), and paid-media businesses. Through hands-on learning, diverse assignments, and accelerated responsibility, you’ll gain deep exposure to the key drivers of growth in digital commerce.
We’re looking for driven and tenacious individuals who are committed to their careers, eager to grow into significant contributors within our team, and enthusiastic about exploring the DTC and media landscape.
What You’ll Do:
You will work across two to three of the following functional areas at a time, depending on the needs of the business:
- Performance Marketing Management: Build, proof, and report on campaigns across paid social, email, and other digital marketing channels. Learn the key drivers of ad performance, launch new channels, and propose strategic adjustments to budget, targeting, and creative to optimize conversion.
- Member Experience Program Management : Support large-scale Member Experience campaigns, including Annual Reading Challenge, Book of the Year, and gifting outreach. Coordinate tasks, manage deliverables, and contribute to execution strategies.
- Churn, LTV & Rejoins : Compile and analyze member lifecycle performance and campaign data. Conduct tests and interpret results to drive LTV (Lifetime Value) improvements, rejoins, and churn reduction.
- Member Insights : Monitor social media platforms, build and send surveys, and collaborate with the CX team to gather and report on member insights.
- Influencer Program Management : Coordinate our monthly influencer program. Over time, evaluate performance and recommend enhancements to improve effectiveness.
- Media Buys & Partnerships: Execute media buys and partnerships, track performance, and identify new customer acquisition opportunities through channels, brand partnerships, and activations.
- New Business Growth & Strategy: Build, execute, and optimize campaigns across channels and work cross-functionally to drive growth and retention for new business opportunities.
About You:
- 0–3 years of experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- A passion for Digital Marketing, D2C/Subscription business models, and Creative Selling
- A strong work ethic with the ability to learn quickly, take on challenges, and adapt to feedback
- Commercial aptitude with a knack for identifying unique campaign ideas and sales strategies
- A deep understanding of our subscription product and member experience
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to read, interpret, and analyze data effectively
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- A proven track record of academic and/or extracurricular excellence
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Grit and perseverance in the face of challenges
- Strong communication skills—able to clearly articulate complex ideas and solve ambiguous problems
