Location: Arlington, VA or Rochester, NY
Salary: $80,000 – $160,000

Overview
Pacific Technical Resources, LLC is seeking a Lead Trade Compliance professional for a billion-dollar leader in the Aerospace & Defense industry. This role supports the Tactical Communications Systems sector and is responsible for ensuring compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations.
Work Schedule
- 9/80 schedule – work 9 days every 2 weeks, every other Friday off
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee Trade Compliance activities (ITAR, EAR, licensing)
- Review and approve Department of State (DoS) license applications
- Review and approve ITAR exemptions and EAR exceptions
- Coordinate with Licensing, Operations & Training, and Customs & Traffic teams
- Support development and execution of compliant business solutions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree + 9 years experience, OR
- Graduate degree + 7 years experience, OR
- 13+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- 5+ years experience with ITAR and EAR
- 5+ years experience with U.S. trade sanctions / OFAC
- Experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry
- U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with OCR EASE
- Licensing experience
- Prior designation as an Empowered Official
