Part-time seit / setss provider

Position Overview

PALS Support Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate SEIT (Special Education Itinerant Teacher) and SETSS (Special Education Teacher Support Services) providers to join our growing team. This part-time position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students directly in their school environments.

In this role, providers will collaborate closely with PALS’ coordination team, school staff, and families to develop and implement individualized learning plans that address each child’s unique strengths and needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized academic and/or behavioral support in alignment with students’ IEP goals
• Collaborate with the PALS team, classroom teachers, and related service providers to ensure cohesive and effective service delivery
• Maintain open communication with families, offering regular updates and recommendations for continued growth
• Support students in building executive functioning, self-regulation, and social-emotional skills
• Complete required documentation, progress reports, and session notes in a timely manner

Qualifications

• NYS Certification in Special Education (required)
• Experience providing SEIT or SETSS services (DOE-approved provider preferred or willingness to complete necessary paperwork, finger printing etc. for onboarding)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to supporting students’ academic and personal growth
• Flexible, professional, and reliable work ethic

Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 10 per week
