Manager, Vehicles
- Develop and schedule daily and long-term preventive maintenance plans.
- Manage resources including technicians, supervisors, and professional staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Implement audit programs to verify work quality and confirm vehicles are released in a state of good repair.
- Ensure corrective maintenance work orders are closed within 60 calendar days of the initial report.
- Enforce compliance with the Safety Management Plan and all applicable Alstom Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safe Work Practices (SWPs).
- Ensure vehicles meet all safety compliance requirements before returning to service.
- Promote a strong safety culture by conducting toolbox talks, safety briefings, and hazard assessments.
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are accurately recorded in MAXIMO to meet contractual and business objectives.
- Complete performance reviews for supervisory staff.
- Maintain zero open corrective maintenance work orders older than 60 days in the MAXIMO system.
- Monitor and report on safety incidents, near misses, and corrective actions in alignment with the Safety Management Plan.
- Ensure all work practices comply with Alstom SOPs/SWPs and regulatory requirements.
- Manage expense budgets for preventive and corrective maintenance, overhauls, and overtime.
- Allocate resources for safety training, compliance initiatives, and equipment upgrades to meet safety standards.
