The Opportunity
We're hiring a Senior Director, Business Development to drive new publisher partnerships and help enterprise media companies modernize their monetization stack.
This is a strategic individual contributor role focused on winning new SaaS business, navigating complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles, and influencing how product and go-to-market strategy evolve. You'll work directly with senior leaders across revenue, product, and engineering teams while positioning the company as a core infrastructure partner rather than a traditional managed service provider.
What You'll Do
- Own the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting through close
- Develop and close strategic partnerships with enterprise publishers and digital media companies
- Position the platform as monetization infrastructure rather than outsourced services
- Translate technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes for publishers
- Provide market feedback directly to leadership and product teams
- Help refine messaging, packaging, and go-to-market positioning
- Attend key ad tech and media industry conferences/events
- Build executive-level relationships across publisher organizations
- Act as a strategic advisor to publishers navigating changes in programmatic monetization
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in business development, publisher development, or enterprise ad tech sales
- Proven ability to close complex SaaS deals with enterprise customers
- Strong understanding of programmatic advertising, header bidding, and publisher monetization ecosystems
- Experience selling technical or infrastructure-based solutions
- Ability to engage both commercial and technical stakeholders
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-moving environment
- Strong strategic perspective on the future of publisher monetization
