Front Server

Semma is looking for a passionate and experienced Front Servers to join our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and love leading with integrity, humility, and hospitality—we want to meet you.

As a vital member of the service team, a Front Server will encompass leading the support staff on all steps of service, setting up the dining room, setting tables, clearing tables, pouring water, running food, working with all other service positions and expediters, resetting the dining room, polishing glassware and various tasks that support service at the restaurant.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Create a welcoming and hospitable environment for guests
• Possess expert knowledge of proper steps of service and engage in table maintenance and resetting with efficiency, speed and grace
• Stay informed and knowledgeable of all menu items and proper mise to accompany each dish
• Maintain the high standards of cleanliness and proper appearance throughout all areas of the restaurant
• Demonstrates an eagerness to continue to learn and grow

Required:

• Experience in a guest-facing restaurant role
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
• Ability to balance & carry multiple plates, glass racks and or/glasses, and lift objects up to 30 lbs.
• Effective communication

The hourly rate for this position is $17.00 per hour minus applicable tip credit. Tips are additional. Benefits include 401(k), Commuter benefits and dining discounts.
