Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Albany, NY 12208 (New York healthcare jobs)
- Unit: Med/Surg Tele Float Unit
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 9/22/2025 – End: 11/16/2025)
- Shift: 12-Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2250 - $2310
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

- Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required
- EMR System: Epic EMR experience required
- Active RN license in New York State (NY RN license required)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience at a 600+ bed academic hospital with passing competency test OR 2 years of RN experience (no testing required)
- Proficiency with Epic EMR (Epic experience required)
- Competency test required within 24 hours of application (sent via email)
- Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
- Strong professionalism, adaptability, and clinical skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Deliver high-quality patient care in the Med/Surg Tele Float Unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions; administer medications
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Accurately document patient information using Epic EMR
- Float to other nursing units as required to support hospital operations
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and clinical procedures
- Provide compassionate support and patient education to individuals and families
