Dishwasher

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our restaurant team. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, and other kitchen equipment using both machine and manual cleaning methods. This role is essential in supporting the kitchen and dining operations by ensuring all items are clean and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash and properly store all cooking utensils, dishes, glassware, flatware, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, including sinks, dish machines, and surrounding areas.
• Operate dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks meet health and safety standards.
• Remove trash and recycling from kitchen areas and dispose of it in appropriate containers.
• Assist with kitchen cleaning tasks, including floors, counters, and equipment, as needed.
• Restock clean dishes and equipment in designated storage areas.
• Communicate with kitchen staff regarding any damaged or missing items.
• Follow all restaurant policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and sanitation.

Qualifications:

• Entry level position, experience not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and handle repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-player attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
