Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular ICU (CTICU) Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Utica, NY. This is a high-acuity unit ideal for nurses with strong cardiothoracic and critical care experience.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Duration: 04/27/2026 – 07/25/2026
• Shift: Night Shift (12 Hours)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Unit: Cardiothoracic ICU (6 Beds)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care to post-operative cardiothoracic patients, including fresh heart cases
• Manage patients with conditions such as cardiogenic shock, AAA, and cardiovascular surgeries
• Monitor hemodynamics and respond to rapid changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, drips, and advanced cardiac life support interventions
• Document patient care using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of CTICU or Cardiovascular ICU experience
• Fresh heart experience REQUIRED
• Active New York RN License (required at submission)
• Certifications required:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
• Epic EMR experience REQUIRED
• Travel experience REQUIRED

• 75-mile radius rule applies (travelers preferred)
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
• High-acuity, specialized ICU environment
