COUNSELOR — CAMP COLONIE Summer 2026
Location: Colonie Golf & Country Club (Voorheesville, NY)
Dates: June 29 – August 7, 2026 (Weekdays)
Hours: ~8:15am–4:15pm daily
Type: Seasonal / Short-Term
Camp Colonie seeks energetic and responsible Counselors to assist with activities and support campers throughout our six-week kids camp program for rising Kindergarteners through rising Sixth Graders.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with group activities, games, crafts & rotations
- Support campers during swim, golf & tennis
- Encourage participation & model positive behavior
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive & fun environment
- Assist with transitions, attendance & end-of-day procedures
- Communicate camper needs to Head Counselors & Camp Director
- Support safety rules & DOH guidelines
- Additional duties as assigned
- Experience working with children preferred (camp, babysitting, sports, after-school programs, tutoring, etc.)
- Positive attitude, teamwork mindset & enthusiasm required
- Strong communication & leadership potential
- CPR/AED a plus (or willing to obtain)
- Able to be outdoors & active throughout the day
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by DOH
