Role Purpose

Responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical infrastructure equipment. Participation in troubleshooting, process improvement, new equipment installation and documentation of electrical infrastructure and process equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical infrastructure, systems, and process equipment to ensure continuous operations and customer supply.

  • Lead and execute electrical preventive maintenance programs.

  • Support capital equipment projects—including design input, specification, testing, installation, and commissioning.

  • Document equipment repairs, changes, and improvements while partnering closely with Quality, Facilities, and Engineering.

  • Identify and maintain critical spare parts to prevent downtime.

  • Provide technical guidance across teams, including union trades, subcontractors, and multi‑disciplinary staff.

  • Participate in electrical shutdowns, PPAs, iKaizen, and LEAN initiatives to drive continuous improvement.

  • Ensure strong adherence to safety practices including LO/TO, OSHA, NFPA 70E, and NEC standards.

  • Troubleshoot to the component level using meters, schematics, and PC‑based tools.

  • Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Associate degree in electrical/electronic, instrumentation, or process controls with 5+ years of relevant experience.
    • Military technical training, certifications, and equivalent hands‑on experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficiency using electrical test meters, PCs, and schematics

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

  • Ability to work independently, multi‑task, and drive tasks to completion

Experiences/Education - Desired

  • AAS in Electrical Technology
  • Experience with:
    • Medium- and low‑voltage systems
    • PLCs, controls, and communication protocols
    • UPS and generator‑backed power systems
    • Building Management System (BMS) operation
  • Experience with LEAN methodologies and continuous improvement

The range for this position is $71,650.00 - $98,520.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
