Financial Administrator

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Workday Financials Administrator to serve as the primary support resource for the organization's Workday Financial systems. This role will work closely with Finance, Accounting, and cross-functional teams to maintain, optimize, and enhance financial system operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Workday Financials administration , system integrations, and financial operations, along with exposure to AI and automation initiatives aimed at improving financial processes and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Workday Financials Administration
- Serve as the primary administrator for the Workday Financials system
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Revenue Recognition
- Period-End Close
- Banking and Settlement
- Manage system configuration, security roles, and user access controls
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot financial system issues
Finance Systems & Integrations
- Support and maintain integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems
- Troubleshoot data and system integration issues
- Coordinate system updates, patches, and enhancements
- Ensure data accuracy and system reliability across financial platforms
Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes through automation
- Support initiatives related to AI-driven finance transformation
- Collaborate with Finance Transformation teams to optimize workflows
- Enhance operational efficiency while maintaining compliance and internal controls
Coupa Administration
- Administer Coupa procurement and invoicing workflows
- Manage user access, configuration, and system support
- Ensure proper functioning of procurement and expense management processes
Project & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with Finance, Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders
- Lead system improvement projects from planning through implementation
- Support financial reporting and operational requirements
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Workday Financials Administrator
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable
- Revenue Recognition
- Period-End Close
- Banking & Settlement
- Experience managing financial system integrations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a global or multi-currency environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work onsite in Brooklyn, NY (2 days per week)

- Experience in Retail or E-commerce environments , such as:
- PayPal

- eBay
- Experience with Coupa administration
- Exposure to AI and automation tools in financial systems
- Experience supporting finance transformation initiatives
