Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg & Telemetry (Nights)

Location: Syracuse, NY 13210

Duration: 14 Weeks

Shift: Nights | 3x12s

Local Pay Range: $50–$55/hourly

Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg & Telemetry (Nights) for an exciting job in Syracuse, NY.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg and Telemetry patients in accordance with established hospital protocols.

• Monitor, interpret, and respond promptly to telemetry readings.

• Initiate and maintain IV access, draw labs, and administer prescribed medications and treatments.

• Perform ongoing patient assessments and report significant changes to the healthcare team.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Document accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR .

• Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance standards.

• Provide patient and family education to support recovery and well-being.

• Work every other weekend and two of three major holidays as scheduled.

• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and strong clinical judgment throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• License: Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) License – New York State (required)

• Certifications: BLS Certification (required)

• Experience: Minimum 1.5–2 years of recent acute care experience (within the past 2 years) in a hospital of comparable size or trauma designation

• Preferred: Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center and EPIC EMR proficiency
