Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Knowledge of basic cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) operations.
• Understanding of store policies, payment procedures, and return/exchange guidelines.
• Awareness of Butterfield Market’s products, departments, and promotions to assist customers effectively.
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic and money-handling principles.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and cleanliness standards in a retail or food market setting.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
