Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, theft-related activity, trespassing, and/or access issues, and follow post orders for reporting, escalation, and response.
• Support opening and closing activities, observe restricted areas, and help to confirm that only authorized individuals access designated spaces and/or sensitive areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
