For more information, visit of Role:GLOBALFOUNDRIES Fab 8 is seeking an experienced process integration engineer to work in the 300mm technology development team. The successful candidate core responsibilities lie in the development of Back-end-of-line (BEOL), customer engagement and maturing the process into manufacturing.Essential Responsibilities:Responsible for developing/qualifying silicon photonics Back-end-of-line (BEOL) process flows and process integrations to enable meeting the product requirements for performance, reliability, and defect free manufacturing.Ensure methods and processes in place to test the devices and structures being developed.Develops and implements methods and procedures for process control and inspection to ensure that the products are free of flaws and function as designed.Analyzes reports and defective products to determine trends and recommend corrective actions.Responsible to freeze developed processes in preparation for manufacturing and drive technology cost reduction & process convergence.Customer engagement through reporting of issues, status, and milestonesWork and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed.Develop and improves test structures to enable fast and rigorous characterization of process.Lead cross functional teams to resolve technical issues.Perform project management and reporting to management.Other Responsibilities:Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. Required Qualifications:PHD's/Master/Degree with 10+ years of working experience in relevant field. Degree must be in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics or other relevant engineering physical science discipline.Experience in Si photonics preferredExcellent interpersonal skills, both oral and writtenFluency in English Language - written & verbal.
