Staff Accountant (Temporary Assignment)

The Position

This is a temporary position, with the assignment expected to last around 3 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform bank reconciliations.


• Perform balance sheet and income statement general ledger account reconciliations in Microsoft Excel


• Record journal entries.


• Perform account analysis including variance analysis and actual vs budget analysis.


• Review general ledger transactions and write brief description in preparation for transaction grouping and analysis


• Review general ledger transactions and performing reclassifications to correct any errors


• Prepare raw transaction data for clear and concise reporting based on firm standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or related field


• 3+ years of accounting experience, with cash basis accounting and/or partnership accounting a plus.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate effectively with managers.


• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables) and Word.

A variety of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands, other business and organizational needs, and other factors permitted by law. Final salary wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. This position is considered full-time and therefore qualifies for benefits including 401(k) retirement savings plan, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

Salary Range:

$83,000 - $90,000 USD
