Job Title: HVAC Technician
Job Description

Join our team as an HVAC Technician, where you will be responsible for performing service and installation of HVAC systems in commercial settings. You will play a vital role in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and maintaining HVAC units, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC units in commercial settings.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks on HVAC equipment.
• Utilize hand and power tools related to the HVAC field.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in electrical work, troubleshooting, repair, and installation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with boilers and preventive maintenance.
• EPA Certification.
• Valid driver's license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2 - 4 years of commercial or residential HVAC experience.
• Flexibility to perform both service and installation work.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to undergo an internal MVR check to drive a service vehicle.

Work Environment

Work in a commercial construction environment with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. All tasks are local, allowing you to stay close to home.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
