About Our Client:Addison Group is partnering with a leading professional services firm in Midtown Manhattan to find a proactive and reliable Administrative Assistant. This position offers a dynamic, hybrid work environment and the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team.
Job Description:The Administrative Assistant will play a key role in supporting internal operations, maintaining efficient office workflows, and providing high-level administrative support to leadership and staff. This is a contract-to-hire position with a clear pathway to full-time employment.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as the first point of contact for phone calls and office visitors with professionalism and discretion
- Schedule meetings, coordinate calendars, and assist with appointment logistics
- Draft, edit, and manage internal documents, reports, agendas, and presentations
- Maintain and update contact records within the company’s CRM and LinkedIn accounts
- Provide support for internal meetings, including preparing materials and coordinating catering or venue needs
- Monitor and restock office supplies; manage office equipment maintenance and vendor coordination
- Assist with onboarding of new hires by preparing key cards, nameplates, and access credentials
- Support the Office Manager with building operations, facilities needs, and general administrative coverage
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and other shipments
- Keep common areas, meeting rooms, and kitchen spaces organized and presentable
- 3–5 years of administrative experience within professional or financial services industries
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal communication and multitasking abilities
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to team goals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Workday, CRM platforms (such as Sugar), and BigTime is a plus
- Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week, coordinated with team)
