About the Role
We are hiring a Product Manager to lead the development of internal tools—a new and rapidly evolving product area at Dstillery. In this role, your primary customers are internal stakeholders: from Sales and Client Success, to Business Development and Platform Operations, to Engineering and Data Science.
With the introduction of platforms like Retool, Cursor, and AI-enabled development environment, our internal tooling capabilities have accelerated significantly and we’re now able to build functional tools faster than ever before. We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, can bring clarity and prioritization to a long list of potential improvements, and is passionate about making sure every internal tool is purposeful, user-friendly, and high-impact. Successful internal tools often make great candidates for fully productionalized external products, so this role functions as a critical R&D / prototyping discipline at Dstillery.
To be successful, you’ll be responsible for building strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, developing a deep understanding of the programmatic industry, gathering and prioritizing internal needs, and managing a roadmap that keeps our internal teams ahead of the curve.
Responsibilities
- Act as the product owner for internal tools—building products and features that improve workflows for teams across the company.
- Develop deep understanding of internal stakeholder needs through interviews, user testing, and usage data
- Translate business problems into tool ideas and requirements that are actionable, prioritized, and technically feasible
- Build strong relationships with users across Sales, Client Success, Platform Ops, Solutions Engineering, Data Science, and other teams
- Manage a rapid product lifecycle, enabled by traditional dev tools or AI-based dev tools, and ensure internal tools are adopted and refined quickly
- Serve as the bridge between internal users and engineering, making sure what’s built is exactly what’s needed
- Develop structure to a highly dynamic environment by organizing and maintaining a clear roadmap of internal tool priorities
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of product management or relevant experience
- An AI-first mindset - has deep experience with LLMs, keeps up-to-date with the latest developments, and has embedded AI tools into their daily lives
- Demonstrated ability to manage internal products or tools
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across a range of functions
- Self-starter with a proactive, get-things-done mindset
- Experience working in fast-paced environments or with rapid development frameworks
Bonus Points For
- Familiarity with the programmatic landscape (e.g. DSPs, SSPs, Curation, etc.)
- Understanding of AI-assisted development tools like Cursor, Retool, and concepts like vibe coding
