Senior & Staff Backend Engineers (Python/Django)

We’re searching for an experienced Senior or Staff‑level Backend Engineer to help shape the architecture, reliability, and scalability of our core platform. You’ll work on systems that power everything from user onboarding and payments to content, community, and partner integrations.

You’ll collaborate closely with design, product, and frontend teams to ship features that are elegant under the hood and delightful in the hands of our users.

What You’ll Do <\/b>

• Design, build, and evolve backend services that support our growing suite of user‑facing and internal tools

• Own key technical projects end‑to‑end, from architecture and implementation to deployment and monitoring

• Partner with product and design to translate business goals into scalable engineering solutions

• Write high‑quality, well‑tested code using modern frameworks and backend standards
  <\/p><\/li>
  
  

• Contribute to thoughtful discussions around system design, security, and reliability

• Help mentor teammates and champion backend best practices

  Requirements <\/h3>
  
  

  
  

  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience (ideally in high‑traffic or distributed systems)
    <\/p><\/li>
    
    

  • Strong proficiency with <\/span> Python <\/b><\/span>(experience with <\/span> Django <\/b> , <\/span> Flask <\/b> , or similar frameworks)
    <\/p><\/li>
    
    

  • Solid understanding of <\/span> API design <\/b> , <\/span> database modeling <\/b> , and <\/span> distributed architecture <\/b>
    <\/p><\/li>
    
    

  • Familiarity with <\/span> AWS <\/b><\/span> or similar cloud environments (Kubernetes experience a plus)

  • Commitment to code quality, documentation, and clean architecture

  • A collaborative mindset, you love working cross‑functionally as much as shipping great code
