Position Title: Registered Nurse - Ambulatory

Location: Syracuse, NY

Job Type: Contract | Local or Travel

Shift: Days (8×5)

Duration: 13-Week Assignment

Hourly Pay: $60 to $65/hr

Weekly Pay: $2,160 to $2,437.50/week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse - Ambulatory for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse , NY.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately in the EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.

• Assist with minor procedures and provide pre- and post-care education to patients and families.

• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions to physicians.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to plan and implement patient care.

• Maintain infection control standards and comply with all hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

• Provide age-appropriate care, with a preference for candidates experienced in pediatrics and urgent care.

• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• Current New York State RN license and registration.

• Certified in BLS and able to be recertified.

• Minimum of 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level.

• Ambulatory or urgent care and pediatric nursing experience preferred.

• Experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital highly desired.

• Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.
