Warehouse Associate

Danessa Myricks Beauty is looking for dynamic and hard-working Warehouse Associates to join our team!!

Warehouse Associates will work in the Distribution Center in Bethpage NY, assembling orders, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, stocking, etc providing world class service in a fulfillment production environment.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Associate, you will:

• Restock, track, and organize inventory.
• Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders.
• Data entry - working on returns, credits, and refurbishing frames.
• Enter information in database.
• Stock and arrange products.
• Fill customers’ orders according to specifications.
• Maintain a clean work area to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Profile and Experience:

Warehouse Associates candidates must meet the following requirements:

• At least 6 months to 1 year of warehousing experience as a general laborer warehouse associate or material handler.
• Ability to stand, twist, push, pull, squat, and lift to 30 pounds for entire shift
• Unpacking Shipments.
• Verifying Inventory received, cycle counts, and quality control checks.
• Stocking shelves.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced / deadline-driven environment and work over-time as needed.
• Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1-2 years of related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Service orientation.
• Critical thinking a plus.
• Active listening.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Salary: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
