Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care Float Pool

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for an Acute Care Float Pool assignment. This is a float role requiring flexibility to work across multiple units based on facility needs. Candidates must be comfortable adapting to different clinical environments and patient populations.

Unit Details

• Acute Care Float Pool
• Required to float between at least two of the following units:
  • ICU
  • Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)
  • Emergency Department (ED)
• Candidates able to independently float across all three units are highly preferred
• Weekly schedules may vary depending on operational needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care across multiple acute care units
• Adapt quickly to varying workflows, patient acuity levels, and team environments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Follow all clinical protocols, safety standards, and hospital policies

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of recent RN experience
• Strong Acute Care experience
• Med-Surg experience required
• Ability to float between multiple units

Preferred Qualifications

• Emergency Room (ER) experience
• Experience with Epic EMR system

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
