Deck Manager – Aquatics Program

Job Summary

The Deck Manager is responsible for overseeing daily aquatics operations and ensuring a safe, organized, and high quality experience for swimmers, families, and staff. This role serves as the on site leader during program hours and supports instructors while maintaining operational and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily deck operations and ensure all classes run on schedule
• Supervise instructors, coaches, and lifeguards
• Enforce safety standards and program policies consistently
• Support families and address customer questions or concerns
• Conduct swimmer evaluations and assist with level placements
• Complete daily reports and document incidents or schedule changes
• Communicate with administrative staff regarding attendance and operational updates
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pool deck environment

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Previous aquatics, coaching, or leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with iClassPro and Apple Numbers preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with administrative staff
• CPR, AED, First Aid, and Lifeguarding certifications preferred
• Availability to work evenings and weekends

Compensation

• $22 to $24 per hour
• Part time position
• In person role
