Job Title: After School Program Leader

Location: 2936 Bruckner Blvd, Bronx, NY 10465

Hours: Monday – Friday, 2PM – 6:00 PM

Compensation: Compensation:Commensurate with Experience

About Us:

United Black Belt MA After School Program provides a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children after school. We focus on academic support, enrichment activities, and positive social development.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a responsible, enthusiastic, and caring After School Program Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, can manage a group setting, and brings creativity and leadership to daily activities.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage children in a safe, structured, and positive environment

Lead enrichment activities, including arts & crafts, sports, homework help, and team-building games

Maintain open communication with parents, staff, and school administration

Ensure program rules and safety procedures are followed

Assist with daily set-up, clean-up, and organization of program materials

Qualifications:

Experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, or childcare preferred)

Strong communication and leadership skills

Ability to manage groups of children with patience and positivity

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
