Qualifications and responsibilities for this Structural Field Inspector (PE) position include:- Must hold a current NY Professional Engineer (PE) license- Must have current AWS CWI Certification or ICC Certification as a Structural Welding Inspector- Must have current ICC Bolting Certification- Strong understanding of NYC building codes and construction plan reading- No design work—focus is strictly on field inspections and sign-offs- Perform on-site inspections to ensure conformance to plans and building codes- Responsible for verifying compliance on welding, bolting, and other structural elements- Conduct inspections related to fire-resistance, energy code, and mechanical systems- Collaborate with a small team and attend project meetings as neededSalary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
