Communications Director
The Assembly member's District Office, located in Harlem, NY is hiring a Communications Director to develop and execute the offices communications plan. The Communications Director will be in charge of creating and distributing the offices mail and email newsletters, managing and growing the Assembly members social media presence, and assisting organizing and promoting town halls, press events, community events, community forums, and other appearances. The Communications Director will also serve as the Assembly Members primary spokesperson and manage relationships with media outlets and other stakeholders including responding to media inquiries, coordinating interviews, preparing press statements, and leading press conferences.
