As a **Security Officer - Retail Patrol Full Time** in **Syracuse, NY** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including the business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
+ Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns within the location to appropriate personnel.
+ Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and monitor the flow of visitors and employees as required by site policies.
+ Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuation procedures and contacting emergency services when necessary.
+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to customers and staff.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
