**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, checking for unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
+ Communicate and collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as required by the situation.
+ Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, patrols, and other activities during the shift.
+ Follow all protocols for the handling, carrying, and storage of firearms in accordance with Allied Universal and client-specific guidelines.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
+ A law enforcement officer license is required.
+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
