Job Summary

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Sales Office Manager to support our sales and operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow in a technical business environment. You’ll assist with customer communications, order processing, documentation, and small package shipment.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email
• Access company server to enter customer orders, prepare quotes, invoices, and shipping documents. Maintain digital and hardcopy records of all customer transactions as required by ISO 17025 driven quality management system
• Place orders with company suppliers as needed
• Maintain product pricelists
• Coordinate with vendors and freight carriers for domestic and international shipments
• Maintain accurate records regarding customer inquiries, customer feedback and inventory systems
• Support bookkeeper with purchases, invoice payments and collection of receivables
• Provide company owner with regular reporting of company sales info as requested

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• 2+ years working in a sales office environment
• Good “people skills” with pleasant, customer friendly demeanor
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Ability to learn technical terminology and product specs
• Organized, dependable, and eager to learn
• Some familiarity with Quick Books application a plus.
